Release 19-3

Release date: October-11-2019

Using Release 19-3

Release 19-3 is currently available only from the eu-1 instance.

To use the eu-1 instance, please switch the Dynamo URL to start like this: https://dynamo-eu1.documill.com.

This means, for example, that the full URL of Template Builder is https://dynamo-eu1.documill.com/app/dae/.

To change the Dynamo instance for custom Salesforce buttons, follow the steps outlined in this article: How to filter the template list?. The article describes how to create a custom VisualForce Page where the Dynamo instance can be changed. Simply locate "Documill Dynamo" and replace it with https://dynamo-eu1.documill.com.

Dynamo Salesforce package Spring 2020 uses the eu-1 instance by default.

Please also refer to the release notes for Release 19-2.

Updates

  • Added a new logic command: Group

  • Added the possibility to upload images into editable areas. The uploaded image is stored in user's private files and a public link will be created for the image to be used in the document. For more information see contenteditable documentation.

  • Added the possibility to add clauses without using drag and drop functionality. There is a new + button in the clause screen that will insert that clause to the current text cursor position.

  • If a clause is added to an empty paragraph, the RTF clause content will replace that paragraph.

  • Family of two-way binding commands for template and screen use.

  • Added a fix in RTF field EL expression handling.

  • The Template Builder has a new (optional) publish button. This button can be enabled from the settings (publish section). Using the publish button will copy the current template to another file as the latest version and also save the current template.  The template remembers what was the published file and will add a new version for that file when the publish button is pressed again.
