Documill Dynamo shows a blank screen in Salesforce

The problem

Users see a blank screen / page after clicking on the Dynamo button in Salesforce, instead of the template list or the directed template.

Troubleshoot

  1. Make sure that OAuth pre-authorization is set up correctly and user profiles have the permission to use Dynamo. See Give end-users permission to use Documill Dynamo

  2. Set the  oauthLoginURL-parameter following the troubleshooting instruction in this article.

After implementing the 2 fixes above, if a user still sees a blank page in Firefox, it could be due to the Firefox browser blocking some Salesforce content (including the embedded Dynamo page).

A user can allow all Salesforce content to be displayed on their Firefox browser by:

  • Clicking on the shield icon next to the site URL

  • In the opened window, clicking on 'Turn off Blocking for This Site'

This browser setting will be remembered for the Salesforce site and will not block any content from Salesforce moving forward.
