Working with Translations

With Documill, you can manage multi-lingual documents in several ways.

You can either leverage our built-in translation feature, and this section will guide you through that process.

You can also leverage conditional template sections or document parts.

As a rule of thumb, we recommend using different templates or document parts when translating between 2-3 languages only. Using the translation feature is recommended from 3/4 languages, OR if the translated text is just a few words or sentences.

Within one Dynamo template, it is possible for users to generate documents in various languages, and the setting could be based on region or language fields in Salesforce or any specific customisation. In this section, you will be shown how to add translations to your document template:
