How to create a paragraph for each Related List item (Legacy)
The Related List is mapped in one paragraph in the template, all the Salesforce fields from the Related list are dropped into template as child elements of the paragraph. In the result document, data from list item will be presented as a separate paragraph. The paragraph and static text in it will be replicated for each line item.
1. Map the Related List to the paragraph
In document template workspace, select Source tab on the right pane -> select Salesforce data source
Click to the icon next to the Object, select Related Lists to open the Lists view
In the Lists view, select the Related List that you want to map. In this example, it's the Opportunity Product
Point to the paragraph in the template that you want to map the list to, and in Assign to, select Paragraph
To ensure you have selected the right paragraph, check the grey bar on the edge of the template.
2. Add field from Related List to the paragraph
When the list has been mapped to paragraph, the grey bar and the Paragraph section on breadcrumbs will turn blue, indicating now the paragraph has dynamic content. Data Source will open the list of fields in the Related List.
Select the field you want to add to the template.
Click to the Drop to document button. Drag and drop it to the paragraph.
3. Add more fields to template
Create a space after a dynamic field, point to the placeholder text, select the Tag tab,
The example shows when the "space" is still wrapped inside a span (with blue highlight) and when it's outside the span by using Append Space
Continue to add more fields or texts to the paragraph as you like.
